Schizophrenia Treatment Services: Potential - Early
Psychosis Clinic
The Potential Clinic is a program for young
adults aged 17 to 25 who are experiencing a psychotic illness and have been ill
less than five years. This specialized program is designed to meet the unique
needs of patients and families dealing with the early stages of a psychotic
illness. The program includes individual and group psychotherapy, psychiatric
management, family education, and support services. The
clinic is staffed by Steven Madonick, M.D., Lawrence Haber, Ph.D., and David
Vaughn, L.C.S.W., and has access to the full resources of The Institute of
Living, including inpatient care and psychopharmacological consultation.
