The Center for Research on Racial Trauma and Community Healing seeks to train future mental health professionals while generating knowledge to improve health equity and reduce bias in clinical learning and working environments.
Our academic partners are a key component of our work. We have established collaborations with academic partners across the state of Connecticut, including, but not limited to, UConn Health and Quinnipiac University.
Our work directly informs educational programs in relation to health equity at Hartford Hospital and throughout Hartford HealthCare.
Our educational programs also include community education and events. We seek to invest knowledge back into our local communities. See Community Engagement for more information.
