The Division of Neuropsychology at Hartford Hospital is part of the Department of Psychology and employs licensed neuropsychologists with expertise in child, adult, and geriatric neuropsychological evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
As part of the Department of Psychology Post-Doctoral Residency Training Program, we offer a postdoctoral residency program in clinical neuropsychology that is affiliated with the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology (APPCN), and is set up to conform with the Houston Conference guidelines. We also serve as an area of emphasis of the APA-approved one-year traditional psychology postdoctoral practice program.
We also are involved in the Psychology internship program at the Institute of Living, as well as serving as a training site for many local graduate programs. As such, our staff is committed to teaching and supervising practicum students, interns, and fellows. Finally, we are continually involved in various neuropsychological research projects.
